Horse manure

This manure is a mixture of horse droppings and their bedding (often cereal straw). The methanogenic potential can vary depending on the type of bedding and the type of equestrian structure of origin (stud farm, racecourse, breeding, equestrian center, etc.).
It is a category 2 animal by-product that requires health approval. Criteria define the obligation or exemption from pasteurization/sanitization of these inputs.
